The youngest of our stores, Scarborough (Ryedale) opened in 2015 in response to growing demand from communities in both Scarborough and the neighbouring Ryedale area. Today, the store serves a wide catchment area including Ryedale, Whitby, Bridlington and Driffield.

Like all our stores, Scarborough is primarily focused on the collection and reuse of donated furniture and electrical items, helping to give quality goods a second life while supporting local people.

The store has developed strong links with local charities, community organisations and support services, enabling it to play an important role within the local community. Alongside this, the team provides tailored volunteering opportunities that help individuals build confidence, develop practical skills and gain valuable work experience. Many volunteers have gone on to secure employment or further opportunities, reflecting the store’s ongoing commitment to helping people move closer to work and greater independence.
